How to update your DLT info in SMS Portal & API?

  • After your Header and Content Templates approved in DLT, follow below steps.

1) Login to your Teleo SMS Web Portal account.

2) Go to > My Sender IDs. Add/ Edit your Header (Sender ID) & PE ID


DLT Content Templates Update in SMS Web Portal

How to Add/ Update DLT Approved Content Templates in Teleo SMS Web Portal? 

1) Login to your Teleo SMS Web Portal account.

2) After Sender ID update. Go to My Templates in SMS menu (Left Menu).

 

3) Click on ‘Add New Template‘.

 

4) Add your DLT approved Content template details. (It will be approved in 30 minutes.)

*Now your Content Template added in Teleo SMS Web Portal.

5) To Send SMS: Go to Send SMS > Select options and Select Template (Below Message text field).

 

6) Select your approved Content template from list.

 

7) Selected template content and DLT Template ID will be filled in Message Text fields.

 

8) Replace {#var#} with your message content, and Send SMS.

Important Notes: 

  • Message format should be same as approved in DLT.
  • Header and Template should be same as approved in DLT.
  • Test with a single SMS before sending in bulk.

SMS API Update

Update your API as per new updated DLT parameters.

API Format: (Sample)

http://sms.teleosms.com/api/mt/SendSMS?user=demo&password=demo123&senderid=INFOSL&channel=Trans&DCS=0&flashsms=0&number=989xxxxxxx&text=test-message&route=2&peid=##&dlttemplateid=##

New DLT parameters to be passed (added) in API:

peid = ( Your DLT PE ID / DLT Entity Reg ID )

dlttemplateid = ( DLT Approved Content Template ID )

Note: 

  • *All other parameters remains same as before.
  • *Content Format should be same as approved in DLT.
  • *Use “peid=123&dlttemplateid=123” as default, if you don’t have DLT registration.
